In 2016, the organisation Man v Fat was set up to encourage overweight men to start playing football. The idea has really taken off with hundreds of men across the UK now benefitting from training sessions. There are groups all around the North East region. Dimi Petleshkov is a coach and Jeremy Butler plays for Gateshead.
