A new film is being released in cinemas about the first woman to swim the English Channel. Vindication Swim tells the story of Mercedes Gleitze who in achieved the feat in 1927. Kirsten Callaghan, who plays Mercedes in the film, and Elliot Hasler, Writer/ Director, have been speaking to Phil Munns about why they chose to tell her story and the challenges filming some of the scenes.
