Tony Snell

Available for over a year

It was 2 years ago that Russia invaded Ukraine - triggering the worst conflict in Europe since the Second World War. Data from the Home Office shows 414 Ukrainians arrived in the UK having been sponsored by residents of Liverpool since the spring of 2022, from a total of 517 visas issued. These people who fled their homes have become our neighbours, our colleagues, but most importantly our friends. Oksana, her husband & Son Vlad lived in Kyiv. They had jobs, Vlad went to school, they had a life, they had to leave their home the first morning of the war. Nearly 2 years ago they arrived in the UK , Oksana & her Son Vlad have been sharing their story with Tony Snell
