Worcester dogs 'traumatised' after grooming injuries

Available for over a year

A number of dog owners in Worcester have told BBC Hereford & Worcester their pets were, in some cases, badly injured after going for a groom at a salon in the city. One dog owner told us her dog was left traumatised after a visit to Wags of Worcester on the Tything, needing to be taken to a vet after his nails became infected. Malcolm Boyden has been hearing from Megan Sumray and Jaz Davies, on their experiences at the groomer. Wags of Worcester denies the allegations and said it has thousands of satisfied customers. It said there have been one or two isolated incidents where a dog was cut and these incidents involved other groomers, not Marcus Davies, which led to some groomers being asked to leave the company. Wags of Worcester also said the business was the subject of untrue allegations, fake reviews and false viral content which they have contacted the police about.
