Why Just Ken?

5 Questions On

Available for over a year

There's no Ken without Barbie... or is there? The Oscar nominations have been announced - and there were some pretty noticeable omissions from the line up. As expected, Oppenheimer lead the nominations, followed by Poor Things and Killers of the Flower Moon. Lots of people had expected the director and lead star of the highest grossing film of this year, Barbie, to be nominated -- but both were snubbed in those categories by the academy. In this episode of 5 Questions On, we ask the culture reporter Sofie van Brugen... why just Ken? (Image credit: Reuters)
