The local man who has sent over 100 generators to Ukraine to help those living through the conflict

In 2023 John Hardisty from Allerton started collecting and fixing generators to send to people in Ukraine. He wanted to help those living through the conflict who are dealing with power outages due to the ongoing war. He directly appealed to BBC Radio Merseyside listeners and since last Summer he has managed to send over 100 generators to Ukraine. He's been giving an update to Paul Beesley
