'I want to be a role model' - Mal Benning

Shrewsbury Town's Mal Benning is continuing to fly the flag as a pioneer for British South Asians in football and says he wants to be a role model. Mal is one of a handful of British South Asians in the professional game and a practicing Indian Sikh, Benning hopes to inspire more Sikh and Asian youngsters in professional football. He visited children at the Trinity C of E School just outside of Shrewsbury.
