Two year old Alfie to turn on Ross-on-Wye's lights

Available for over a year

After battling a rare condition, he's switching on his hometown's Christmas lights! 2-year-old Alfie McDonald is one of just 13 people across the UK to have been diagnosed with the CACNA-ONE-A gene mutation - which has affected his limbs, muscles and eye-sight, and caused him to have two seizures this year. Alfie got several nominations to do the honours in Ross in recognition of his bravery while battling his health issues, as his parents Courtney Harris and Lannock McDonald, have been telling to our reporter Matt Hutchinson.
