Parked Cars blocking emergency vehicles

A local bus company is calling on us to park sensibly, after a planned route had to be altered. Arriva has confirmed that the 104 service was unable to serve Lubbesthorpe Road because parked cars were blocking the road. Ady Dayman spoke to Civil Engineer Alex Romankiw, whose parents have lived on Lubbesthorpe Road for the last 10 years to see how he feels about it. Ady also spoke to Anthony Wildgoose from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service to find out how lives are being put at risk because of the problems the parked cars cause for emergency services.
