Veronica Riches from Greensted has been nominated for a BBC Essex Make A Difference Award by her neighbour Sue Thomas. Veronica is described as “a most extraordinary person and a five-star asset to the community” by Sue, who adds that in addition to her work with Guides and Brownies, Veronica “quietly, and so very humbly, makes a difference” to so many people’s lives.
