Remembering Liverpool's legendary Pete the Busker

Pete the busker, a familiar face on Church Street in Liverpool, has sadly passed away. Peter Mickle became a well-known character with his guitar and plastic microphone. Someone who got to know him more than most is Adam Thompson. He started a project called Humans of Liverpool on social media back in 2018 and Peter was one of the first people he featured. Adam has been telling Tony Snell about the man behind the plastic mic but first here’s a reminder of his repertoire...
