Ashby Bath Grounds bought for the people of Ashby

Ashby Town Council and the people of Ashby now officially own Ashby’s historic Bath Grounds. The grounds are an area of parkland close to the town centre, and used everyday by residents and visitors who come to enjoy a beautiful communal space. The purchase of the Bath Grounds was completed after lengthy negotiations between the Royal Hotel and Ashby Town Council. Chris Smith, Leader of Ashby de la Zouch Town Council, explains to Ben Jackson why the purchase of the grounds was so important to people living in Ashby.
