For the past few months, Lucy Letby's smiling face has appeared on TV news bulletins and in the papers as details of her crimes were made public. Pictured in her nurse’s uniform and holding a tiny baby-grow, she appeared to be a young woman who was dedicated to care. We now know that couldn't have been further from the truth. Letby's ability to blend into the background allowed her to carry out horrific attacks in plain sight.
