Netballer's World Record Attempt becomes official

A group of netballers from Ashby are celebrating after being confirmed as World Record Holders. Back in February members of Ashby Netball Club took part in a fundraising challenge to raise money for children with critical illnesses. It's now been confirmed they broke the record for scoring the most goals in a 24 hour period. They also raised more than twenty thousand pounds. Organiser Carla Garey told us there were a lot of hoops to jump through to get the record in the bag.
