McDonald's - Targeted for Being New

Latest News Picks

Available for over a year

A further one hundred and twenty former and current McDonald's workers have contacted the BBC since our first report about harassment and bullying at the fast-food chain. The fresh allegations come just hours after the BBC's initial investigation, which heard from workers as young as 17 who said they were being groped and harassed almost routinely. McDonalds has apologised and asked anyone who's experienced or witnessed inappropriate behaviour to contact them on a confidential hot-line they've created. In this episode of our podcast by BBC Business Reporter, Noor Nanji, we hear Emily's story - who joined McDonald's when she was 17, her first job since leaving college. Image Credit: BBC News
