How healthy are Leicestershire's hedgerows?

Ben Jackson on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

We're being encouraged to check our local hedgerows as part of the Great British Hedgerow Survey. The wildlife charity 'People’s Trust for Endangered Species' is asking wildlife enthusiasts to take part in a simple survey between now and October, to gather information and feedback on how healthy our hedgerows are in Leicestershire. The data will be collected in order to give an overview of the condition of our hedgerows across the country. Megan Gimber is the Key Habitats Officer at the charity and explains the crucial function of our hedgerows to Chance Litchfield and the importance of the survey.
