A pug from Rutland has been remarkably saved by a freight driver who slammed on the brakes after noticing her on the track. It was on Tuesday that Poppy went missing after being clipped by a car on an evening walk with her owner. An overnight search followed, before she was miraculously discovered on Wednesday morning. Her owner Dawn Bain and Michael Jones, the freight driver who spotted her on the track, told us the story.
