Katie Boulter set for first match at Wimbledon 2023

It's the start of the Wimbledon fortnight as some of the biggest names in Tennis head to the All England Club for the most historic of Grand Slams. Novak Djokovic hopes to win a record 24th Grand Slam title - more than any other player in the modern era. Kazakhstan’s Elena Ry bakina will defend the women’s title. Meanwhile, tennis fans across Leicestershire will be cheering on Britian's new number one female player Katie Boulter. Katie - from Woodhouse Eaves - comes into the third grand slam of the year in fantastic form, having just won the Nottingham Open, and will be hoping to progress further than last year. David Ireland, Katie's former coach from Leicestershire Lawn Tennis Club gives his assessment of her chances in her opening match.
