Two foals who lost their mums have got a new adoptive mare to look after them thanks to the generosity of a local farmer. Sammy the shire horse lost her own foal, so when her owner heard about two orphaned foals, she was able to step in and help out. It took a trip from the Leicestershire border down to Devon but now the trio have bonded and the foals are thriving. Sammy's owner is Cath Pegg.
