'Traditionally us orthopaedic surgeons work with our hands!'

Ben Jackson on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

An orthopaedic surgeon from Leicestershire has revealed his inspiration behind his entry for the 'Shed of the Year' competition. Tim Green entered the Unexpected/Unique category in the competition - creating his very own ‘Viking Cabin’. Tim says the shed's design is based on its Leicestershire location as he lives on the border between Viking and Anglo-Saxon territory in England during the Middle Ages. The shed is designed to be suitable for storage, entertaining and possibly work. Tim explains to Ben Jackson that he had always wondered how they are made and decided that the only way to find out was to make one, enrolling himself on a course in Wales that showed him the techniques.
