Writer Hollie McNish and poet Steven Camden, aka Polar Bear take you through the plot and introduce you to the main characters in Mary Shelley's Gothic Novel Frankenstein. They’ll be helping you to prepare for your GCSE English literature exam where you’ll need to understand and write about the key themes of the book, which tells the story of scientist Victor Frankenstein, who gives life to a creature he finds hideous. Frankenstein then rejects the creature - who seeks his revenge. Hollie and Steven talk about the most interesting and important things that happen in the story, and tell us a little bit about the key characters. We also find out about Mary Shelley and the time she was writing. Along the way they will give you key quotes to use in your exam.
