Three friends from Australia decided to make an incredible journey, after Liverpool was announced as the host city for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Tanje, Tobie and Rhiannon have been huge Eurovision fans for decades, getting up at 5am each year to watch the competition live in Australia. With the UK stepping in to host on behalf of Ukraine, the friends decided this was the year to come and watch and soak up the atmosphere in person! Rhiannon's son Henry has joined the group for the fun and they all popped into BBC Radio Merseyside - sequins and all - to explain why they've travelled so far for Eurovision.
