A major wildlife project run by a Leicestershire farm has seen an increase in the number of rare birds being spotted there. Belvoir Farm in Bottersford has been taking part in the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust’s 'Big Farmland Bird Count' which was launched to encourage healthier habitats for declining wild bird species. The latest count for 2023 has seen an increase in the number of species of rare birds including the Cuckoo, Willow Warbler and Grey Partridge. Keith Challen, manager of Belvoir Farm in Bottesford tells reporter Ryan Dilks about the project.
