Over 800 names have been put forward for seats across Leicestershire in the local elections. On Thursday 4 May 2023, you will have the opportunity to have your say in ward and mayoral elections. This time round there are 300 plus council seats up for grabs in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Political Reporter Tim Parker has details on the council election candidates.
