The government's announced more details as to how it plans to test its new mobile emergency alert system on Sunday 23rd April. Its purpose is to warn people of dangers like floods and fires. The Government say similar alert systems have saved lives in other countries like the Netherlands and Japan. Conor O'Grady explains how it will work.
