The arrival of an Olympic standard hockey pitch in Leicester, alongside coaching throughout the cities schools and nurseries will see Leicester as a beacon for the sport according to the city's hockey club. Leicester hockey club was given St Margarets outdoor sports centre by the City Council for just one pound, 4 years ago. It's now hoping to attract big teams in the world of hockey to play in the city. Helen McCarthy has been to a local school, meeting with the next generation.
