Sir Francis Drake Bowls Club is a thriving club based in the centre of Tavistock. As well enjoying green bowling in the summer months the members turn to indoor bowling, called short-mat bowls, in the winter, which is played inside their well appointed club house. Sir Francis Drake Bowls Club welcomes new and inexperienced members as well as seasoned bowlers and you won't need your own set of woods as the club has plenty of sets waiting to be used.
