Russian befriends Ukrainian refugee

Anastasiia Oliinyk fled Ukraine in July 2022, five months after the Russian invasion. She eventually found sanctuary in Essex, where she was befriended by Kristina Tsareva, who’s Russian. On the first anniversary of the Ukraine war, Anastasiia and Kristina tell BBC Essex’s Sonia Watson that their friendship will last long after the war is over.
