Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Residents on Portland have set themselves the challenge of raising £100,000 in the hope of saving a much-loved youth and community centre. The Islanders club in Underhill is run by the community, for the community, from a building which is almost 50 years old. It's in desperate need of urgent repairs and a major refurbishment - without which there are fears the centre could close. Our reporter Charlotte Foot has been along to the club to find out why it matters so much.
