Solar powered canal boat for Ashby

A fundraiser has been launched to build and run a solar powered, all electric narrowboat for 12 passengers along the Ashby Canal. It's a joint venture between two narrowboat owners and entrepreneurs, with a 25 year history at Sutton Wharf. All being well, they're planning to launch this July! Tom Malone and Tom Jeffrey are joint-owners and directors of Sutton Boat Trips.
