In October a new law is being introduced where a number of single-use plastic items, including plates and cutlery, will be banned The Department for the Environment said the ban is being introduced to curb the "devastating" impact these products have. But owners of the William Walton takeaway in Anstey, who are already serving their customers in an eco-conscious way, say that costs of eco-friendly packaging could raise concerns for their future going forward.
