Religious groups are “morally failing” children

Elliott Webb

Available for over a year

Reaction to an inquiry into the handling of child abuse allegations in religious sects, including Jehovah's Witnesses, after a BBC Hereford & Worcester investigation. The Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse looked into a series of religions including sects from Christianity, Orthodox Judaism, Islam, and the Jehovah's Witnesses and found they were “morally failing” children. Our reporter Felicity Kvesic reflects on her investigations, and we hear from one of the first victims to speak to us four years ago.
