How 'virtual chemo treatment' helped Leicester woman with Leukemia

New treatments that reduce the amount of time people spend in hospitals are benefitting both patients and the NHS. After Jo Spare was diagnosed with Leukemia she received her chemotherapy not at a local Leicester hospital, but in her own home. It meant she didn't require a bed during her treatment, and she could spend the time at home with her family. Now Jo's cancer is in remission.
