Bournemouth 'Ukraine Relief' charity gala celebrates volunteers

On Friday night Bournemouth charity 'Ukraine Relief' held a gala to celebrate ten months of volunteer efforts to ship support to the country. The charity launched on 25th February 2022 just a day following the start of Russia's assault on Ukraine. Since, Ukraine Relief - based at Castlepoint - has provided 2-thousand-500 tonnes of aid, including hospital kit, food, medicine, all sorts. Our reporter George Sharpe went along to the gala to meet the volunteers making it happen.
