Madani Schools for Girls in Leicester is being awarded a national ‘Centre of Excellence’ award for its groundbreaking work developing students’ communication skills. For the past five years it has been using a new way of teaching students with the charity 'Voice 21' to help children find their voice. Their efforts have had a transformational impact on students' learning, and the future career prospects of many young people. Madani Schools Federation is just one out of nine schools nationally to receive this award. Khush Sameja has been to meet with some of the staff and students there to find out more.
