Christmas card full of cash posted through Kenilworth door for 12 year old boy

Trish Adudu on BBC CWR

Available for over a year

Francesa Anker has thanked an anonymous neighbour who kindly gifted her son one hundred pounds in a unsigned Christmas card, posted through her families front door. Her son Ben, has severe complexed needs that means he can't talk or use his limbs and has epilepsy and autism. The family believe the donation may have been inspired after their local community came together to help fund a wheelchair for Ben earlier in the year. Ben had been saving his disability allowance to go towards a three thousand pound device that will enable him to have conversations with others, the extra cash means he'll be able to purchase one. Francesca told BBC CWR's Trish Adudu she thinks the Kenilworth community are amazing and that the device will be a great help to Ben.
