Ray Laidlaw talks to Gilly following the death of North East director Geoff Wonfor

Grammy award winning North East director and producer Geoff Wonfor has died. From groundbreaking TV show The Tube, to the 20th anniversary of Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas and The Beatles Anthology documentary series. Geoff worked with everyone from Prince and Paul McCartney to the Eurythmics and Five Star. Geoff's long time friend, the Lindisfarne drummer Ray Laidlaw has been speaking to Gilly.
