Paul Franks

Available for over a year

Now if you're a bricklayer, carpenter or electrician - how do you fancy some time Down Under - helping to build some of the facilities for the Commonwealth Games in Victoria in 2026? The Aussies are in desperate need of tradespeople and a delegation from Victoria are on a fact finding mission to learn from cities who've already staged the event, including Birmingham. Just over a week ago they were in Sandwell to visit the brand new aquatics centre, that was of course the only brand new venue built for the games this summer, at a cost of £72m. Political Reporter Tracey Higgins caught up with Rebecca Casson - Chief Executive of Master Builders Victoria, who's currently in New York.
