Wimborne bookshop owner swapped working with the stars for village life

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Nestled on Wimborne High Street is a second-hand book shop called Black Pug Books. It's really just a number of book cases in a living room between two shops. But life didn't start there for the owner of the shop, Victoria Sturgess. She spent lots of time producing live television where she met stars including the Bee Gees, Elton John and Queen. She recounts how some of the artists didn't quite match up to their on-stage personas.
