Blandford cocktail bar is 'best place to drink in England'

The Ginger Viking cocktail bar in Blandford - serving drinks that wouldn't be out of place at the likes of The Savoy - has won the 2022 Observer Food Monthly award for the best place to drink in the whole of England. The owner, Alex Young, set up the bar five years ago with his wife, saying they wanted to create ''something different'' from what other pubs and bars were offering.
