Banning of car meets in Colchester is "a sad thing to see"

Colchester Borough Council has banned all car meets and car cruising in the area for three years after residents complained about drivers racing, speeding excessively and performing stunts. BBC Essex's Ben Fryer spoke to Colchester Borough Councillor, Julie Young, about the decision. People who go to car meets criticised the move, saying more needs to be done to build relationships between the authorities and the car community, and that a blanket ban is not a resolution.
