Car-related artwork is the usual focus for Ian who works at speed in a mobile studio made from a converted car. He was due to be at the city's Motofest event that was cancelled following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. He used the time to pay tribute to her through his artwork. He told BBC CWR Breakfast with Phil Upton about two pieces of art he created: a sketch of the Imperial State Crown, and King Charles III arriving at Buckingham Palace in his Rolls Royce.
