The proclamation of King Charles III’s accession to the throne will be read out across Derbyshire and East Staffordshire today. Ceremonies are taking place at Derby’s Council House, County Hall in Matlock, the war memorial in Burton, plus dozens of other locations across the two counties. The Bishop of Derby Libby Lane will be attending the proclamation at the Council House. She’s been speaking to BBC Radio Derby’s Donna Alos.
