Coventry Poet Laureate invited to twin German city

In 1959 Coventry was twinned with the city of Dresden in Germany At the start of September, Coventry's very own Poet Laureate has been invited to take part in a number of poetry events. The purpose of the trip is to strengthen the friendship between Coventry and Dresden and has been largely funded by CAIF (in Coventry) and Dresden Council. She told BBC CWR's Trish Adudu about her forthcoming trip where she will be sharing poetry, meeting other artists and those passionate about the arts, attending an outdoor feast, visiting a local school, a few community groups, and headlining the local poetry night.
