'It all started with a bag of socks'.

Ady Dayman

Available for over a year

After she was donated a bag of unwanted socks from a factory, Charlotte Booth was taken on an incredible journey. After distributing the socks to people in need, the Leicestershire Community Cupboard began to grow. She has now helped thousands of families across our area by giving them essential items and clothing from public donations. Charlotte has been nominated for a BBC Radio Leicester Make A Difference Awards, recognising people in the community who go above and beyond. We had hundreds of nominations across all the categories and over the next 8 weeks we are going to reveal that shortlist - and hear from the finalists.
