The British-born Australian singer and actress was best known for playing Sandy in Grease, one of the most successful film musicals ever made. She died peacefully at her California ranch surrounded by family and friends. Olivia sang on the hit single "Xanadu" which was the title song from the soundtrack of the 1980 film. The song was written by Jeff Lynne from Birmingham band Electric Light Orchestra.
