After her Stoma was formed in 2019, Sarah Smith feared her life was over. But since then she started sharing her story on Instagram to help inspire others on the same journey as her. Sarah has been nominated for a BBC Radio Leicester Make A Difference Awards, recognising people in the community who go above and beyond. We had hundreds of nominations across all the categories and over the next 8 weeks we are going to reveal that shortlist - and hear from the finalists.
