Kenilworth MP says big pay rises will fuel inflation rates

Official figures show that inflation reached a 40-year-high of 9.4% last month. That's 0.3% higher than in May. The government has warned that meeting public sector demands for a pay rise which matches inflation will cause the figure to soar even higher. Conservative Kenilworth MP Jeremy Wright's told Phil Upton on CWR Breakfast he agrees big pay rises could make it worse.but he also called for short-term government action to help families with the rising cost of living.
