A new show made by young people and Gecko Physical Theatre Company

St. Helens Primary School in Ipswich saw a very happy return to its Annual International Day celebrations. A day when everyone comes together at the school with dance, songs, traditional clothes and storytelling to acknowledge and recognised the diversity and contribution of the families connected to the school. The show was called ROOTS and it took only 6 days to make. Cad Taylor caught up with one of the young people who was in the play, and Paul Smethurst, creative Producer for GECKO to find out a bit more. Samira starts the chat.
