Former Conservative Minister Margot James says she wants to see anyone who takes over in Downing Street to prioritise the West Midlands. She told BBC CWR: "We want a Prime Minister and a new government that does more than just shout about the West Midlands - we want a commitment." But Margot James, who is now the Executive Chair of Warwick Manufacturing Group, admitted although she called for Boris Johnson to go, she did support some of his actions. "Some of the things he's done have been very good" and he finally got "seriousness of purpose in Whitehall and Westminster about the Midlands and North of England - so long neglected by policyu makers"
